Great brunch on Saturdays with a nice open atmosphere. Everything is fresh, and all of the items on the menu taste great! Biscuit basket is great and comes with a buttermilk biscuit, a pumpkin biscuit, and a jalapeno bacon biscuit. Breakfast boards always have a good variety, and the waffle board is delicious. Avocado toast always comes with a healthy serving of avocado on top! Barista always does a great job with all different kinds of drinks. Service is consistently awesome and friendly, and I love bringing people that are in town by. Great location too--just a few blocks from the local farmers market on Saturdays. Always look forward to coming here!
Overview
Magpie Cafe at 333 Laurel St #110, Baton Rouge, LA 70802, United States, brings a cafe-focused identity to a downtown Baton Rouge address. Its Laurel Street location places the cafe within the cityβs central area, making the setting relevant for people searching for a convenient place to work into their daily schedule. Whether the visit falls around breakfast, lunch, a coffee break, or an informal meet-up, the cafe format gives diners a flexible option that does not need to revolve around a traditional full-service restaurant experience.
The name Magpie Cafe immediately establishes the venue as a cafe rather than a conventional diner or formal dining room. That distinction matters when browsing restaurant locations, since cafes often fit several different occasions throughout the day. Someone may be looking for a quick stop before another commitment, while another visitor may want more time to sit down and explore the menu. Located at Suite 110 on Laurel Street, the cafe has a specific downtown address that is straightforward to reference when planning a visit.
For anyone researching Magpie Cafe before arriving, the menu is naturally one of the main points to consider. Since no specific dishes, drinks, prices, or dietary options are provided here, it would be misleading to describe individual items or make assumptions about what is currently available. Menus can also change, so diners interested in a particular selection should rely on current information from the cafe itself. This is especially useful for visitors comparing cafe locations based on what they want at a particular time of day.
The same principle applies when reading reviews. Restaurant reviews can provide useful context about individual visits, but experiences may differ depending on timing, personal expectations, and what was ordered. Looking across several recent reviews can therefore give readers a broader picture than relying on a single account. For Magpie Cafe, details connected to its location, menu, and the type of visit being planned are particularly useful when deciding whether the cafe matches a specific occasion.
Its address at 333 Laurel St #110 also provides an important practical reference for visitors navigating Baton Rouge. Knowing the complete street address beforehand helps distinguish this Magpie Cafe location from similarly named businesses that may appear during a general search. It also makes it easier to incorporate the cafe into plans involving other destinations around the area.
When considering Magpie Cafe, the most reliable starting points are consequently simple: the cafe name, its Baton Rouge location, and current menu information available at the time of a visit. Rather than depending on unsupported descriptions of dishes, atmosphere, service, or pricing, diners can use those concrete details alongside recent reviews to form expectations that better reflect what they are looking for.

Amazing Chicken and Waffles!! Brunch Downtown in Baton Rouge. You will not be disappointed. This meal will have you coming back again just to try out everything else they offer. The menu is a little pricey otherwise a five star would be justified
Upside: If a Hipster coffee shop is your vibe, then this is your mother ship. Very spartan, millennial decor with matching healthy, tasty food and drink options. The service was absolutely top notch, right down to the Rastafarian bartender (quintessential Hipster, like I said). Seems like a great place to post up with a laptop, too. Downside: I paid over $5 for a small, unmarked chocolate milk and $3 for a vegan cookie, which was delicious. Overall: If the prices weren't so outrageous, I'd give 5 Stars, but I'm a little too old school to appreciate the skyhigh value of alternative food choices; despite the pleasant, minimalist atmosphere, enjoyable offerings, and warm service.
Yaaaassss Intelligensia coffee. I'm planning to get breakfast here every morning while I'm in town for work. Awesome almond milk latte! A bit pricey for Baton Rouge, but reasonably priced for this San Francisco girl.
My favorite coffee shop in baton rouge. The lattes are on ways on point and the lunch is delicious.
Always great food and coffee. Love this downtown location! A bit pricey but a good choice after visiting the farmers market.
Good Cortado. Whey use intelligencia coffee roasters (black cat blend)
